I have been a member of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) for about 15 years now. The Institute was founded in 1973 by former astronaut Edgar Mitchell, inspired by an epiphany he had while gazing at the earth from space aboard Apollo 14, where, he says "the presence of divinity became almost palpable, and I knew that life in the universe was not just an accident based on random processes". I am so proud of this site because it is my daughter Amanda's ezine. She lives in Jersey City, N.J.with her husband Cliff (see a link to his store, next) and puts out a publication called New which is a guide to "living on the other side of the Hudson". This is the online version. Check it out. Isn't my daughter cool ?! She is also a very talented graphic designer and works with developers in and around Jersey City.

Cliff is from Manchester, England and has one of those wonderful Brit accents. He had a boutique in Manchester before emigrating to the U.S. and one of his regular customers was David Beckham, in addition to many other team members of Manchester United. (Oh my, now I'm name dropping too. Forgive me, motherly pride and all that!)
